The US government is banning the export of AI models that are good at hacking to foreign nationals. Microsoft, X, and GitLab have effectively banned the publication of zero-days across their platforms. I suspect it’s all downhill from here.

This is a slippery slope. Political action is likely necessary to counter this threat to our freedom of speech.
